Tim Alch is a Senior Vice President of A&S. He is a graduate of Amherst College with a B.A. (with Honors) and studied within the Mineral and Energy Economics graduate studies program at Pennsylvania State University.

He has worked as an equity analyst at Dean Witter Reynolds, Prudential Securities and Paine Webber where he focused on the precious and base metals, mining and steel sectors. He has also worked as a financial and industry analyst at World Steel Dynamics (NYC) and CRU Inc. (London). At World Steel Dynamics he managed the development of WSD’ initial “Global Metallics Balances” model and report.

His work over the years has focused on the study and analysis of financial, industry and strategic issues concerning the management and performance of corporations within the global natural resource sectors - to include metals, mining, steel and related industries - and investments therein.

At A&S, he has contributed to and co-authored client studies for officers of financial services, natural resource and manufacturing companies on a wide range of strategic, management and financial studies with senior associates and experts. Some of the projects he has worked on include estimating of cash flows and valuations of resource based enterprises; metals/minerals sector market analyses, and conducting management and director compensation studies.
