Antonio Salazar Morales has over 25 years of experience in the coal industry.  His experience includes both operational and executive positions, with specific experience in exploration and evaluation of coal resources and reserves, mining design, feasibility studies, project analysis, underground and open pit coal exploitation, performance and productivity, cost analysis, financial evaluations, sales and commercial aspects. He has participated in due diligence processes for divestitures of coal companies. In addition, Mr. Salazar has also been a consultant for coking coal projects. 

Mr. Salazar’s corporate experience includes serving as Advisor for Acerias Paz de Rio, and Vice President of operations for Carbones of Colombia, S.A. (Carbocol).   

Mr. Salazar holds degrees in civil engineering and financial management from Andes University in Bogota and a degree in ecology from University Javeriana, Bogota.  He has completed additional studies in Mexico and in Ireland.
