Donald K. Cooper has diverse experience in coal mining, preparation, marketing, transportation, and utilization.  His 35 years of experience in the coal industry have included project valuation, corporate start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, and business re-engineering.   

Mr. Cooper has worked for large, publicly held corporations and small, private companies.  As a sales executive, Mr. Cooper negotiated and administered coal supply and transportation contracts worth more than US$800 million.  He has dealt with the American utility and industrial segments, the Latin American steel industry, and the Asian steel and utility industries.  Mr. Cooper has administered all aspects of short-term and long-term coal supply contracts, including their transportation and quality control provisions.
