Graham Freshwater

Graham Freshwater has extensive experience in the design, operation and assessment of continuous opencut coal mining equipment, such as bucket-wheel excavators (BWEs), bucket ladder units, trucks, shovels and dozers as they apply to large volume open cut coal mining operations.  He has worked in surface coal mining operations for most of his career, the last 10 years of which have been as a consultant and contract manager.

Mr. Freshwater has developed expertise in coal mine operations; technical due diligence and feasibility studies; mine optimization, operation and organizational studies; financial and technical evaluation of mining properties; cost-control and productivity review; and organizational development, management review, and strategic planning.   

Mr. Freshwater holds a Diploma of Civil Engineering from the Caufield Institute of Technology and a Victorian Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency.
