James (Jim) Dodd

James (Jim) Dodd has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry, including 25 years in operations management and technical assignments in the United States and Australia.  He has experience in developing and evaluating business plans, both financial and technical, in an international setting including Great Britain, Australia, Colombia, Mexico, and the Middle East.  His experience in surface and underground coal operations in addition to technical and managerial skills have combined to provide innovative solutions to complex technical and managerial problems.   

In addition, Mr. Dodd has assisted in developing business plans and reorganizing operations to significantly increase productivity.  He has played key roles in selecting major equipment purchases and installations along with implementing innovative strategies to increase productivity while minimizing costs in major underground coal mining operations.  He has also been instrumental in developing business plans and operations in joint venture situations.   

Mr. Dodd holds an MBA degree from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University
